Aber das soll sich bald ändern, denn Bella lernt in der Highschool den klugen, attraktiven Edward Cullen kennen – und dieser Star der Schule scheint sie zu mögen, die beiden freunden sich an. Bella – einerseits fasziniert von dem geheimnisvollen Edward – beschleicht jedoch mehr und mehr das GefĂĽhl, dass mit ihm etwas nicht stimmt. Doch bevor sie, angestachelt durch Edward´s mysteriöse, anziehende Art, ihm auf die Spur kommt, ist es bereits um sie geschehen: sie hat sich hoffnungslos in Edward verliebt. Bella und der sexy Vampir – kann das gut gehen?
Es ist die Geschichte einer verbotenen Liebe, sehr charmant geschrieben, spannend und fesselnd bis zur letzten Seite.
Der Titel ist der erste Band der Bis(s)-Tetralogie von Stephenie Meyer und erschien erstmalig im Jahr 2005 im Verlag Little, Brown and Company.
Seit 2006 ist Bis(s) zum Morgengrauen (engl.: Twilight) bei Carlsen erhältlich, seit Februar 2009 auch als eBook (im ePub-Format für 9,95 €).
