Ihr Patient war der Augensammler
Menschliche Gedanken sind manchmal wirklich erschreckend. Nicht selten sind sie charakterisiert von Gewalt und narzisstischen Ideen. Gut, ein jeder hat schon einmal darüber nachgedacht, den Autofahrer, der einem gerade die Vorfahrt genommen hat und nun an der roten Ampel direkt vor einem steht, aus dem Auto zu zerren und ihm mehr als nur die Meinung zu geigen. Wahrscheinlich hat jeder auch schon einmal darüber nachgedacht, dies bei seinem Chef durchzuführen, weil der sich mal wieder mit fremder Leistung rühmt. Ich kann beruhigen, das ist nur allzu menschlich, es gibt noch wesentlich schlimmere Gedanken, die bei Manchen im Innern schlummern. Erschreckend muss es nun sein, diese Gedanken anderer lesen und deuten zu können. Noch schlimmer ist es dann wohl, böse Taten anderer zu kennen, die eigentlich geheim bleiben sollten.
In „Der Augensammler“ von Sebastian Fitzek kommt Alina Gregoriev eben jene Gabe zu. Die blinde Physiotherapeutin kann allein durch Berührungen in die Vergangenheit ihrer Patienten sehen. Am vergangenen Tag hat sie dort etwas gesehen, was sie so schnell nicht wieder aus den Gedanken bekommt. Ein Mann hält die Stadt in Angst und Schrecken, er tötet Frauen und entführt ihre Kinder. Den Männern hinterlässt er eine Botschaft und die Chance, ihre Töchter und Söhne innerhalb von 45 Stunden aus ihrem Versteck zu befreien. Schafft man dies nicht, werden die Kleinen auf der Stelle getötet. Ihre Leichen werden später gefunden und weisen eine weitere Besonderheit auf, ihnen fehlt das linke Auge.
