Kostenlose eBooks – jetzt auch bei buecher.de

buecherde_logo_600Libreka hat es vorgemacht. Jetzt folgt buecher.de mit einer Aktion, um den Markt für eBooks weiter anzufachen. Noch bis zum 1. November kann man kostenlose eBooks auf buecher.de herunterladen. Mit dabei sind Klassiker der Literatur, u.a. Kafka, Heinrich Heine und Shakespeare. Die eBooks sind teilweise als PDF und im epub Format erhältlich. Start der Gratis eBook Aktion war der 12. Oktober. Auch Klassiker aus dem Genre Sciencefiction sind erhältlich. Perry Rhodan – Projekt Saturn gibt es beispielsweise als kostenloses eBook.

Neben den 40 Literaturklassikern als eBook weitet buecher.de konstant das bestehende eBook Angebot aus. Aus der Presse war zu entnehmen, dass buecher.de u.a. einen Vertrag mit der Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck unterschrieben hat. Die Buchverlage der Verlagsgruppe (S. Fischer, Kiepenheuer & Witsch, Rowohlt und Droemer Knaur) kommen pünktlich zum Start der Frankfurter Buchmesse mit 800 eBooks auf den Markt. Bis zum Jahresende wollen die Verlage den eBook Markt mit 1.500 eBooks im epub Format bedienen. Die Preise für eBooks orientieren sich am Ladenpreis der günstigsten gedruckten regulären Ausgabe, so die Verlage. Sobald ein Hardcover zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt als Taschenbuch zu einem günstigeren Preis erscheint, reduziert sich gleichzeitig der eBook Preis.
