Um die Normalen zu verstehen, muss man erst die Verrückten studiert haben
Was zunächst sehr paradox wirken muss, ist die Hauptthese des Erfolgsautoren Manfred Lütz und spiegelt in erster Linie genau das wieder, was er uns mit seinem neuen Werk „Irre – Wir behandeln die Falschen – Unser Problem sind die Normalen“ alles Schönes sagen will. Lütz spielt ein wenig mit dem Leser, entführt ihn in die Welt der wahnsinnigen Normalen und in jene der ganz normalen Wahnsinnigen. Er zeigt uns die Welt der Demenzkranken und Schizophrenen, der Süchtigen und Depressiven und all derjenigen, die meinen, sie seien normal, wobei das gesamte Werk genau das Gegenteil beweist.
Lütz unterhält uns mit teils satirischer, teils informativer Darstellung einer Welt, die wir zunächst nicht zu verstehen scheinen. Er erklärt uns untersetzt mit ein wenig Humor alle Eigenarten jener, die wir als anders bezeichnen und versucht anhand wissenschaftlicher Analysen alle Interessierten dahingehend zu informieren, wie sie sich besser in die von uns so häufig als anders Charakterisierten hineinversetzen können. Auch für das Vorwort hat sich der Psychologe prominente Hilfe geholt, wird es doch von keinem Geringeren als dem Comedian Eckard von Hirschhausen gesprochen. Dieser rundet das Werk mit blühendem Wortlaut schon in der Einleitung komfortabel ab. Alles in allem ein wirklich interessantes Werk, in dem sowohl der Unterhaltungswert als auch die hohen Erkenntnisse der Wissenschaft nicht auf der Strecke bleiben.
