Vom Nationalspieler zum Manager bis hin zum Präsidenten
Das Leder rollt wieder, 32 Mannschaften stehen sich in Südafrika gegenüber. Das Ziel ist für alle gleich, man möchte Weltmeister werden, die Methoden dahingehend komplett unterschiedlich. Deutschland hat bisher voll überzeugt, vor allem der Bayernblock um Linksverteidiger Badstuber, der bei seinem WM-Debüt alle Zweikämpfe gewann, den Youngster Thomas Müller, der beim Debüt gleich traf, Krisenstürmer Miro Klose, der sein elftes WM-Tor erzielte, Bastian Schweinsteiger, der als Stratege das Spiel leitet und Kapitän Phillip Lahm, der die Rolle des Capitano bisher bestens ausfüllt. Einer, der alle fünf bestens kennt, ist der Bayernpräsident Uli Hoeneß, der in seiner ersten Saison als höchste Person des Rekordmeisters beinahe das Triple feiern durfte.
Wenn man die Gesellschaft über Hoeneß sprechen hört, spalten sich die Gemüter. Manche halten ihn für die Instanz im deutschen Fußball, hat er doch 30 Jahre lang als Manager des FC Bayern diesen zu einem der besten Vereine Europas gemacht. Andere wiederum sehen in ihm einen machtgierigen Geschäftsmann, der alles dafür tut, dass sein Verein Erfolg hat und gerne auch mal seine Konkurrenz verbal angreift. In zwei Sachen aber sind sich alle einig, Hoeneß hat Erfolg und es gibt viel über ihn zu reden. Das hat auch Journalist Patrick Strasser, der Hoeneß über lange Jahre begleitet hat und mittlerweile ein respektvolles Verhältnis zu ihm besitzt, gemacht. In seinem Werk „Hier ist Hoeneß“ spricht Strasser über ein ganz besonderes Erfolgsrezept, vor allem aber über das, was bei allem Fokus oftmals zu kurz kommt, den Menschen Ulrich Hoeneß.
