Zwei Autoren sorgen für ein eisiges Abenteuer
Wir kennen es von Autobiografien, dass sich der ein oder andere mehr oder weniger in der Öffentlichkeit Stehende die Hilfe eines mit Regeln der Rechtschreibung und Grammatik Gesegneten sichert, um den Erfolg des Werkes auch auf jeden Fall zu garantieren. In Form von wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen findet man sie auch gelegentlich, aber können zwei Autoren auch bei einem Thriller zusammenarbeiten? Zugegeben das ist relativ komisch, sich vorzustellen, man würde Dan Brown und Stephen King gemeinsam an einem Tisch sitzen sehen, wie sie sich gerade über eine neue Kollaboration unterhalten, der eine unbedingt einen dunklen Turm unterbringen möchte und der andere irgendwie versucht, einen smarten Harvard-Professor zu integrieren.
Bei allen komischen Vorstellungen kommt es aber dennoch immer wieder zu interessanten Zusammenarbeiten, die sogar richtig kompakten Lesestoff hervorbringen können. So geschehen bei den US-Amerikanern Douglas Preston und Lincoln Child, die schon mehrfach gemeinsam für packende Spannung sorgten. Unter anderem verfassten die beiden 1995 „Das Relikt“, welches nur ein Jahr später in den Kinosälen zu sehen war. Auch richtig spannend ist das „Ice-Ship – Tödliche Fracht“, welches bereits 2000 veröffentlicht wurde und nun als eBook erhältlich ist. Packendes Mystery-Abenteuer am südlichen Ende der Welt und wie der Titel schon sagt, es wird eisig.
